With the color of the ship, the area of a ship to operate is identified. The US Navy identifies the brown colored ships for rivers and blue for oceans. Along with these two colors, green is also added to identify the ship for coastal water or near a shore. As the navy ships were mostly concentrated on the oceans they do not have vessel to drive in green waters. So, it immediately requires a ship which can run in the waters not very deep and run after the enemies. The US navy has asked for the help of many ship builders to design a ship that runs on littoral and coastal waters.
